Lokman Hekim University Health Practice and Research Center
The 8-storey hospital building on a closed area of 17,500 m² in Sincan district of Ankara started to provide health services on 23.03.2008.
As of January 1, 2020, our hospital, which started to serve as “Lokman Hekim University Health Practice and Research Center” with the status of a University Hospital, has 6 full-fledged operating rooms and a helipad to accept patients coming by Air Ambulance. Our hospital has a total of 82 intensive care units and 134 patient beds, including 51-bed General Intensive Care Unit, 6-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, 4-bed Coronary Intensive Care Unit and 21 Newborn Intensive Care Unit with Incubators, and has a total capacity of 216 beds.
Our hospital supports the Baby Friendly Hospital Project carried out by the Ministry of Health and UNICEF and has been awarded the Baby Friendly Hospital certificate.
